Dear Parents and Carers
Thank you for your support this term. It has been a very exciting time preparing for our move and as we reach the final day at Gorton Mount we would like to wish you and your families a very happy Easter.
School re-opens at Rushbrook on Tuesday 19th April 2016 – there will be no breakfast club at Rushbrook on that day. However, there will be a breakfast club as usual on the Gorton Mount site for our Year 6 pupils. Breakfast club at Rushbrook will open at 8am on Wednesday 20th April 2016.
A lot of time, effort and money has been spent on the new uniform and a set has been given out free for every child in the school. I would like to ask for your help in ensuring that all children are wearing their new school uniform on the first day back including Year 6 pupils who will stay at the Gorton Mount site until after their SATs examinations. We want to have the right expectations from the very first day and if these expectations are reinforced by parents and carers it will ensure consistency across the school. All parents and carers have received a copy of the behaviour matrix. Please go over this with your child during the Easter holidays. Teachers have been working with the children to make sure they understand the expectations but as always, parental support is vital if we are to do the best for all our pupils.
The telephone number for the Rushbrook site is 0162 223 5955 and the new email address is email@example.com. Our new website address is is www.rpa.bfet.uk and the twitter account is @RushbrookBFET. Please check the website and twitter regularly to keep up with all our latest news and events.
