First Anniversary of the Manchester Attack
Back to article list
This week marks the First Anniversary of the Manchester Arena Attack. There is a programme which is based around two themes: Remembrance, Reflection and a celebration of life- recognising each of the 22 people who lost their lives in the attack, those who were injured and first responders.
There will be a Trees of Hope trail, which will run from Victoria Station through to St Ann’s Square. Our School Council tributed by writing some heart warming messages of solidarity which will be hung across these 28 beautiful Japanese maple trees.
Pupils and their families and staff are also more than welcome to visit the trail between 19th May and the 27th May 2018 to write individual messages should they wish to.
We will be holding a minutes silence at 2.30pm on the 22nd.
